Privacy and AI Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2026

About this policy

This policy explains how Station52 collects, uses, and protects information on our website and in our services, including how we use AI.

In this policy, "Station52", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Station52, located at 755 W. Big Beaver Rd., Troy, MI 48084.

Scope

This policy applies to:

  • The website and forms at station52.ai and its subpages, including requests for access to Station52 Workspace, Station52 Classroom, and Station52 Workshop.
  • Email communications with us.
  • Subscribers and prospects located in the United States.

We operate a U.S.-centric program. We aim to be transparent and responsible even where specific state or international laws may not apply.

What we collect

We collect the minimum necessary to provide the site and respond to requests.

Information you provide:

  • Contact details, such as name, email, company, and role.
  • Messages and details you send through site forms, such as an access request or contact message.
  • Email you send to us, including headers and content.

Information we collect automatically: technical logs, such as IP address and timestamps, for security and reliability.

No regulated data by default. Please do not submit health, financial, student, or similarly regulated information. If your use case requires it, we will scope a separate agreement and controls before proceeding.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Operate the website and process access requests you submit.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide materials you request.
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve reliability.
  • Maintain accurate business records.

How we use AI

Station52 Workspace, Classroom, and Workshop use AI models to help people with their work. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete, and you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it.

We do not use client or prospect data to train public models. Please do not enter secrets or sensitive personal data into AI features.

Chat and voice features

The marketing site does not currently offer a chat or voice assistant. Chat inside Station52 Workspace is handled by the Station52 platform. If a voice assistant is added to the site, this policy will be updated and the provider named.

Please do not share sensitive personal data, such as health, financial, or government identification details, in chat. Our providers’ own privacy policies apply to the data they process.

Cookies and local storage

When you first visit, the site asks you to accept or decline cookies. We save your choice in your browser’s local storage under the key station52CookieConsent so we do not ask again on every page. This single preference is stored on your device only and is not sent to us.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings; the banner will then appear again. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Analytics and tracking

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, but only after you accept cookies in the banner. If you decline, or do nothing, Google Analytics does not load.

We configure Google Analytics to anonymize IP addresses, and we do not enable advertising features or use advertising trackers.

Global Privacy Control (GPC): we honor GPC signals by treating them as a decline of non-essential tracking, so analytics does not load.

Do Not Track (DNT): we also honor DNT signals in the same way.

Do not sell or share

We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are commonly defined under U.S. state privacy laws such as the CPRA. We also do not conduct cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data retention

Business records, such as emails and access requests, are retained as long as needed for legitimate business purposes or as required by law.

Security

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all website traffic.
  • Role-based access control and least-privilege access to integrations.
  • Credential management and audit trails through our internal governance program.
  • Vendor due diligence for listed service providers.

No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a security incident affecting your information, we will investigate and notify you consistent with applicable laws.

Service providers

These are our primary service providers that may process limited personal information on our behalf:

  • Vercel: website hosting and content delivery (IP address and request metadata).
  • Our email provider: sending and receiving email with hello@station52.ai (contact details and message content).
  • Google Analytics: site analytics, only after you accept cookies (anonymized IP address and usage data).
  • AI model providers accessed through the Station52 model gateway, under agreements that prohibit training on your data.

Each provider’s own privacy policy governs its handling of data. We will keep this list current and post material changes here.

Your choices and requests

Although this is a U.S.-centric policy, we strive to honor reasonable privacy requests from all visitors.

  • Access, correction, or deletion: email hello@station52.ai with your request.
  • Cookie preference: decline in the cookie banner, or use your browser controls.
  • Unsubscribing: follow the link in our emails, or reply and ask us to remove you.

Children’s privacy

Our site and services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. We will post updates here with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted for at least 30 days.
